February 2016 SHARE Food Menu Released

[embeddoc url=”” height=”850px”]
The February 2016 Menu for SHARE Food has been released.

This is a great way to save money on food – and you do not have to disclose income. You do not need to be receiving food stamps. The food is top-quality. If you are not taking advantage of this opportunity to get good food for little money, it is a crying shame!

Notes: The “Order Turn-In Date” is the Day that the Co-ordinators have to phone their order in. To ensure that you get your order in on time, please place your order the Day BEFORE! The “D” Dates are the dates that orders can be picked up in some (but not all) locations. The Culpeper/Fauquier areas only have “D” dates on Saturdays.

Notes: prices on this flyer do NOT include a surcharge for the Culpeper/Fauquier areas to offset the price of gasoline for the volunteer drivers who use their personal vehicles to drive to the warehouse to pick up the shipment to bring to the local host sites.

When you place your order, please check with the coordinator for the appropriate pick-up time for the location you will be using, and the actual surcharge.

There are three local distribution locations near the Jeffersonton VA area where area residents can pick up their food orders:

  1. I wanted to touch base with those of you that know Marcy Bade in Jeffersonton. She has been home for about 2 weeks and Hospice is now taking care of her as well as Keith Johnson. I have visited her a few times, but feel that you should visit her as her health is declining due to the cancer. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me directly, Tiffany Navin at 540-341-3064. I am in the process of putting together a video of Marcy. If you have photos or special memories of Marcy please email them to me asap at I know she appreciates flowers, balloons, and cards. Lets come together as a community and show loving care and support for the wonderful woman that touched all of our lives in some way. If you do not remember who Marcy is she worked for several years at the Jeffersonton Post Office and was a very active member of the Jeffersonton Community Center. Marcy and Keith were also very involved with their animals and horses. Marcy was a PE teacher in Manassas and my husband was fortunate to have her for a teacher. We love this woman and know that if you knew her she blessed you and touched your lives as well. Please pass this along to all. Thank you
