Press release from Culpeper County Sheriff’s Office:

This prom season Culpeper County Sheriff’s Office has encouraged students from Eastern View and Culpeper County High Schools to sign the “my 2015 PROMise” to behave responsibly before, during, and after prom and to be alcohol- and drug-free on prom night.

Students who signed the pledge were entered into a raffle to win a free limousine for prom night courtesy of Sheriff Scott Jenkins and CCSO. EVHS student Madison Sites won a night in a stretch Hummer limousine with 17 of her friends.

Others who signed the pledge were entered into a second drawing after prom to win an iPad. Sheriff Jenkins presented the iPad to Macy Hooper, also an EVHS student, on Monday, April 27, 2015.

The Sheriff’s Office will be raffling another limousine and iPad to CCHS “my PROMise” signers for their May 9 prom.
